The Sultanate of Oman, located in the Arabian Peninsula is known as the Hidden Diamond for its beauty and great variety of landscapes.
From the capital Muscat, where we will visit the main monuments to different Wadis, that is to say oasis in the desert, of enormous beauty and crystalline waters.
We will learn about the life of yesteryear, how the Bedouins lived, about the traditions, about life in the desert and much more.
Departure to Oman via intermediate capital. Day en route. Arrival in the evening/night to Muscat. Assistance at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free and at the indicated time, enjoy a welcome dinner.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for a guided tour of the city that will start in the New Muscat, visiting the Great Mosque, learning about the history of the place. We will continue by the Royal Opera House and the Al Qurum Beach before continuing to Old Muscat, starting with the Mutrah Souk, the most famous in the city. We will continue through the Sultan Palace and the Portuguese Forts and the Bait al Zubair Museum.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Jabel Shams.
The first stop will be in Nakhal Fort, of pre-Islamic construction and where you can see what life was like for the people and the life of the Imams (Kings).
We will leave the road to enter the track, passing through Wadi Bani Auwf. On this tour we will pass by incredible canyons and some small villages, many goats and small gardens until we reach Jabel Shams.
Known as the Grand Canyon of Oman, it is located at 3,500 m above sea level.
Breakfast at the camp. Departure to Al Jabel Al Akhdar to spend the night.
The tour will start with a stop at Al Hamra and the historic Musfat Village, which, with its 700 years of life, still has Omanis living in the houses carved out of the rock. We will walk through the city to contemplate an incredible nature before continuing to Nizwa, which was the first capital of the emirate and where we will visit the Fort and the most important souk in the country.
Breakfast at the camp and departure on foot through the mountain at about 2500 m. above sea level. This excursion will allow us to visit some beautiful historical points of the country.
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Berkat Al Mooz in the Wahiba Sands Desert.
Here we will enjoy the golden dunes of soft sand and visit a Bedouin village. They will welcome us in a typical Bedouin house and we will taste the lifestyle of the local people.
We will spend the night in a Bedouin camp where we will enjoy great activities and learn about their lives.
Departure after breakfast at the campsite towards Ras Al Jinz where we will interact with the turtles and spend the night.
En route we will visit the Wadi Bani Khalid.
Breakfast at the campsite and departure to Muscat.
The day promises to be very interesting, starting with a guided tour of the City of Sur where we will also visit a shipyard of Dhows, old Omani boats.
We will continue to Wadi Shab, the most beautiful oasis of the country with incredible rock formations and exultant nature. On the way to the beautiful waterfalls, we will have time for a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters.
We will enter the Sinkhole Park to see the hole in the ground that is believed to have been formed by the impact of a meteorite.
Arrival in Muscat. Registration at the hotel and free time. At the indicated time, farewell dinner.
Breakfast at the hotel and free time. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to connect with your return flight.
